Game Decrypter for playing 5.55 Games V1

When he decided to leave the scene there nearly three years (see our news on this subject), many have lamented the loss of developer talent. Yoshihiro has yet returned to service recently, he then pushed the world of homebrew proposing nothing less than a DS emulator for our PSP (latest version).
Recently, he again surprised the players by offering XGen Updater, which can directly install 5.50 GEN-B2 from any PSP with a Custom Firmware 3.71M33 above via the Pandora battery (available on this product).

Today, Yoshihiro presents a tool that will please all the players in the community: Game Decrypter, which will allow owners of games requiring firmware 5.55 can play on Custom Firmwares 5.50GEN-B and 5.03GEN.
To do this, you will get the file EBOOT.BIN an ISO that you created with the utility UMDGen.

Most games asking the 5.55 can be treated with this tool. Some games (list available soon) will be impervious to manipulation, they require a patch to the image of him created to run Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. But generally, you can finally play your own backups, without having to install official firmware.

What PSP can benefit?
The PSP Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B (see this article).
The PSP 2000-v3 and 3000 using the 5.03GEN (read this article). (use mode driver in the M33 vsh menu)

hi guyz this tool is here for let you use your original game backup
on CFW 5.50 gen B-2 .

how i can use this tool ?
1 :lets go first you need to install the GameZDecryptZ folder in your X:PSP/GAME folder
2 : put your EBOOT.BIN extracted from UMDGEN PSP_GAME/SYSDIR and put it on root of your memory stick
3 : now you can boot game decrypter now you can press X 5 seconds later it's done
4 : connect your usb cable check on root of your memory stick you have a new folder called decryptor
5 : copy the eboot.bin from the decryptor folder inside umdgen and rebuild your iso

Voilà

PS : not all games working because some games use some fact header on prx files

TUTORIAL DECRYPT

Hello, alot of you didn't understand how to make the EBOOT.BIN Patch, so here is my tutorial on how to do so. if u don't understand, try reading it again!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Requirements
1. UMDGEN v4
2. GameDecrypter
3. 5.50GEN-B2 or 5.03GEN-A **THIS DOES NOT WORK ON ANY M33 FIRMWARES!!**
4. The Game You Wish To Path [Already Downloaded]

The Tutorial ~~

    * After, downloading the game you wish to play on your 5.50GEN-B2 PSP, you will need to open UMDGEN v4 which you should have downloaded by now.
    * Now, Click "OPEN" on UMD GEN



     * Now, Once u click OPEN, select the Game you want to patch, in this tutorial we will be using GRAND TURISMO



   1. Click on PSP_GAME
   2. Click on SYSDIR
   3. Click on EBOOT.BIN

Just Like In that picture

    * Right Click on the EBOOT.BIN and select "EXTRACT SELECTED"



Now, i don't have pictures for the next few steps, so pay attention VERY CLOSELY!

   1. Copy the EBOOT.BIN that you extracted to the ROOT of your Memory card (The Root of your memory card, is where u see that VIDEO, MUSIC, PICTURE, ISO, SEPLUGINS folders)
   2. Copy, the gamezdecrytper folder into PSP\GAME
   3. Run the Game Decrypter from the GAME Menu on your XMB
   4. Press X to decrypt the eboot.bin
   5. now, connect your PSP back to your computer and u will see this



when u open that folder you will see this :



   1. Back on UMD GEN, Right click the EBOOT.BIN file that u see there and click "DELETE" (YES CLICK DELETE!)



**IF U HAVE A EBOOT.BIN ON YOUR DESKTOP DELETE IT NOW!!!**

   1. after removing any other eboot.bins from your desktop, copy the new one from the DECRYPTOR folder to your desktop.
   2. DRAG AND DROP THE NEW EBOOT.BIN INTO THE UMD GEN WINDOW, AND IT WILL ADD THE NEW EBOOT.BIN TO THE PROJECT!

**DO NOT DELETE THE GRAND TURISMO ISO FILE YET!**

    * Time To finish it up
    * Click SAVE, then Uncompressed (.ISO) or Compressed (.CSO) [it doesnt matter which one]



    * Now, Once that step is done, ur New 5.55 on 5.50 Patched ISO Will Be working!! Copy it into your PSP's ISO folder, and start playing!!!

If you still need help, please let me know, and i will do my best to get it working for you, if u think i forgot something and/or should add something to my thread, let me know aswell and i will update it to mirror what you suggested.

Please do not ask me to go do it for you, i won't you need to do it for yourself (im not trying to be mean, i don't have the time to download all the games and decrypt and rebuild each iso)

Kalo masih ga bisa pake tips ini

for those whose games failed, try this
Open the original iso when UMDgen, then file, file list, export and save it.

Then close the program and open again. Open the iso with UMDgen and then file, file list, import and chose the file you saved previously.

Now all u gotta do is replace the ebbot and Thats it!

someone made naruto playable with this, everyone whose games failed TRY again!

TUTORIAL DECRYPT DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA

Yang diperlukan:
1.UMDGen v.4
2.Game Decrypter
3.CFW GEN-A/GEN-B2. Lebih baik GEN-B2.

Tutorial:
1. Connect PSP ke PC.
2. Copy Game Decrypter ke PSP/GAME.
3. Jalanin UMDGen.
4. Buka ISO game.
5. File - File List - Export.
6. Extract eboot.bin yang di PSP_GAME/SYSDIR
7. Copy eboot yang di extract ke root memory stick.
8. Disconnect PSP dari PC.
9. Jalanin Game Decrypter di PSP. Tekan X.
10. Connect lagi PSP ke PC. Akan muncul folder DECRYPTOR di root memory stick.
11. Copy eboot.bin yang ada di folder DECRYPTOR ke PSP_GAME/SYSDIR di UMDGen. Overwrite.
12. File - File List - Import(File .txt yang di export di no.5).
13. Save ke ISO/CSO terserah.
14. Copy ISO ke folder ISO di PSP.

- It's real, they decrypted it (or at least the filetable to extract the prxs out of the psar)

- No you cannot just use the UP for 2 reasons, first lflash is now encrypted and the key for its encryption changes often (and uses a per psp seed/IV) so even with a nand dump, you can't dump the FAT12 filesystems anymore.
The second reason is that you would still lack the 02g, 03g and 04g modules.

-About psardumper they do not release it because they obviously do not want the new keys to be leaked (to avoid people like Becus to suddently come with their new CFE enabler or the like) trust me, if they made a 5.50 custom firmware, you can at least be sure they do have the 5.50 keys.

- No the method to get the keys did not suddently change in 6.00 you still get them off the IPL's payload which can still be dumped and decrypted on psp-1000 and 2000 at IPL time and you can still dump them on newer psp revisions with a kernel exploit (if you have any at your disposal)

People should stop whinning for custom firmwares and start making their own if they want an update or at least grab the keys if they want psardumper to be updated. As for my part I care very little about it or the psp at this point, the work definitely isn't worth it (in my personal point of view)

Finally pspgen devs do have the skills to decrypt the whole thing and I do not see any reasons for them to lie.

Clearly, you'll be able to run games requiring firmware than the one installed on your console and games like MotorStorm should pass on all the consoles and custom firmware 5.50GEN even 5.03GEN. MotorStorm turn on 5.03GEN (PSP-3000 and PSP-2000 v3)
and 5.50GEN (PSP-2000 and PSP-1000)
