 Apple on Monday announced updates to two of its Mac computer lines, updating both sizes of its MacBook Air, the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pros and introducing an all new MacBook Pro its presenters called "the greatest Apple computer ever built." In total, Apple launched 10 new models for its MacBook line, so if you're interested in buying but having a hard time deciphering the different specs and prices, here's a little guide for you. First up is the kingpin of today's new computers, the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. Along with the best display on any of Apple's computers, this MacBook Pro is ultra thin and comes with updates to all parts, making it a faster and more powerful computer than any other MacBooks. One thing you should note is Apple did not include an optical drive on the Retina MacBook Pros. For $2,199, you can get the less powerful Retina MacBook Pro, which comes with 256 GB of flash storage, 8 GB of RAM and the new Ivy Bridge processor. If you pay $600 more, you'll get twice as much storage and a slightly more powerful processor. Next in line are the regular 15-inch MacBook Pros and the 13-inch MacBook Pros. At the 15-inch level, you can get a MacBook Pro with 500 GBs of storage, 4 GBs of RAM and the new Ivy Bridge processor for $1,799. For $2,199, you get a better processor, twice as much RAM and 750 GBs of storage. Of the new Pros, the cheapest is the 13-inch $1,199 model. It has 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB of storage while the $1,499 has twice as much RAM and 250 GBs more of storage as well as a better processor. But the Pros were not the only MacBooks to get updated. All of the MacBook Air computers were also updated and even had $100 price cuts except for the starting $999 model -- the 11-inch Air, which has 64 GB of storage. That model has 4 GB of RAM and the Ivy Bridge processor was added as well, while it's sibling, which costs $1,099, has twice as much storage but otherwise is the same. The 13-inch Air costs $1,199 for 128 GBs of storage, 4 GB of RAM and the Ivy Bridge treatment too. For $1,499, the 13-inch Air comes with twice the storage space. All of the computers now come with two USB 3.0 ports, and the MacBook Pro with Retina will also have two Thunderbolt ports. |

Macbook Pro Retina Display  reason why the new macbook pros gak ada optic drive nya - everything by apple can be purchased via app store - menurut mereka itu adalah space yang gak guna di jaman sekarang... tapi buat yang pengen nonton dvd bisa beli  |

menurut gw jg CD udah nga gt berguna koq, ga sesering di pake kyq jaman dulu di bandingkan pake flash disk haha , dan menurut gw bagus bgt , karena tunggu aja bbrp bulan lagi smua laptop PC bakal ngopi kalo mereka jg mau drop CD  |

menurut gw jg CD udah nga gt berguna koq, ga sesering di pake kyq jaman dulu di bandingkan pake flash disk haha , dan menurut gw bagus bgt , karena tunggu aja bbrp bulan lagi smua laptop PC bakal ngopi kalo mereka jg mau drop CD pc laptop gk bakal bisa... karena mereka mau install windowsnya dari mana??? gk bakal bisa sepraktis mac... wakakkakaka |

andai dulu saat Floopy di jadiin "Legacy" sama Apple, ada external Floopy reader, pasti ada orang yg comment seperti diatas hahaha... "bisa nambah duid apple dengan penjualan dvd external"

DVD is not DEAD, yet. banyak yang masih butuh.. pernah liat Station TV pake thumb drive untuk jalanin kerjaan mereka? no, THEY DO NEED DVDs. dan masih banyak orang2 yg BUTUH DVD. mungkin disaat mereka udah ada opsi lain, mreka akan pindah. tapi kenyataannya belum. thumb drive is just not good enough for these kind of things..

yg gue benci dr semakin majunya OS mac adalah makin banyak aplikasi yg ga bisa jalan di OS baru tersebut
kalaupun bisa jadi mesti diakal2in..
dan yg paling sering dicomplain salah satunya adalah Corel Draw
padahal corel draw termasuk program vital buat design2
Sejak Lion keluar jd susah diinstall itu Corel Draw
apakah banyaknya aplikasi yg jadi ga bisa jalan ini bakal berlanjut di Mountain Lion?

- Buat dvd (gw lupa namanya lg banyak pikiran)
- Battery Indicator on the side
- Sleep Indicator
- Remote yg ada di sebelah sleep indicator....

bro nanya nih . kenapa ya iphone 4s gw aplikasi ubersosial , facebook , tagged , twitter , instagram tulisanya muncul begini twitter : the following eror occurred when trying to reach twitter : could not connect to server tagged : error the network connection was lost trus masuk safari bisa internetan dan masuk chat facebookan masih bisa digunakan kenapa aplikasi diatas tidak bisa digunakan mohon bantuanya broo  |

Apple investing $3M to open first retail store in Indonesia, resume direct online salesApple plans to create an online retail presence in Indonesia, according to a report from NZWeek (via TNW), as well as open its first retail location in the country with a new store in the capital city, Jakarta. Confirmation of the investment comes from the country’s Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). It has approved Apple’s application to open up shop in the country, and the report claimed Apple is looking to invest $2 million to $3 million USD in the capital city of Jakarta to open its first brick-and-mortar retail location. Just last month, Apple started selling the iPhone 5 in close to 50 new countries including Indonesia. The country also started receiving access to iTunes music and movies last month with the rollout of the service to 56 new countries. As noted in the report, Foxconn is investing $10 billion USD to open a new hardware manufacturing plant in Indonesia with construction slated to kick off this year. TNW pointed out that Apple actually sold products in Indonesia from 2008 to 2010 before stopping due to difficulties with shipping out of Singapore.
